Care guide

1. Unpack promptly. If shipped bare-root, pot into a free-draining mix, water once and allow the plant to recover in bright shade.
2. Keep the young plant evenly moist while it establishes, but never leave its roots standing in water.
3. Acclimatise it gradually to its final light conditions over several days before planting out.
4. Some plants are naturally dormant in winter and may arrive without leaves; healthy roots can reshoot in the correct season.
