Growing well

Care guide

Unpack promptly. If shipped bare-root, pot into a free-draining mix, water once and allow the plant to recover in bright shade.
Keep the young plant evenly moist while it establishes, but never leave its roots standing in water.
Acclimatise it gradually to its final light conditions over several days before planting out.
Some plants are naturally dormant in winter and may arrive without leaves; healthy roots can reshoot in the correct season.

Traditional uses

Tequila Agave is valued for garden beauty, seasonal interest and, where suitable, pollinator-friendly planting. It can add colour, structure and biodiversity to a home garden.

For educational purposes only. Traditional use does not prove safety or effectiveness and is not medical advice. Never ingest an unfamiliar plant, and consult a qualified professional when appropriate.
